The first game in the New Year between Milwaukee (14-15) and Chicago (20-10) was one of those "fun games" with lots of crowd-pleasing moments.

Michael Jordan and Glenn "Big Dawg" Robinson were on fire for the whole game, both scored 44 points apiece (Jordan 15-22, Robinson 18-30 from the field) and made a lot of great plays.

Jordan in particular was phenomenal. He brought his vintage game - fadeaways, alley-oops, reverse layups, coast-to-coast plays - you name it. He had the fans on their feet all game long with his spectacular play, only a month before his 35th birthday.

His teammates were also great, especially Longley and Rodman. Luc had almost a triple double (24 pts, 9 rbs, 8 ast) while Rodman stole the show in the last minutes. Not with his rebounding or defense, although he had 21 rebounds in this game. "The Menace" went crazy on 3-pointers.
"Taco-Dennis" hit a couple of threes, rolled the score up to 114-100 and in doing so gave the jubilant crowd a round of free tacos.

  • Dennis should go to the hall of fame

and have his jersey retired by the bulls>

    What do ya'll think?

  • The Worm belongs in the HOF, no doubt about that.

I'm not sure about the jersey, though. I don't think that there will be another Bulls player who wants his number anyway.

  • Wow MJ destroyed the bucks. That's crazy. And the bulls were still without Scottie Pippen with his injury. Dennis does belong in the HOF. Best pound for pound rebounder ever.

I mean to rival betweem the Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks :)

  • @MAGIC32vsKOBE24 he did go to the hall of fame

  • @MAGIC32vsKOBE24

    I agree with your opinion.

He had worked for bulls for three years and kept the rebounding titles, too !

If it had not been for his great job, bulls could not have won the NBA championships three times!!

  • Jordan could own anybody....

  • DAmn to think that jordan was 35 years old at this time. get the fuck out of here kobe and the rest of'em lol

  • Jordan - 44 pts (15/22 FG, 1/1 3PT, 13/15 FT), Robinson - 44 pts (18/30 FG, 3/4 3PT, 5/6 FT). Ray-Ray - 11 on 4 of 12. It was one of only 5 Glenn's 40+ performances. He gave his best against the best team in the world. Great player.
