I actually remembered seeing this as a kid. I didn't know it was banned, whatever happened to the budweiser frogs anyway?

This was not banned as far as I know. i used to watch it all the time on TV, when i was a kid. They had loads of these adds with frogs, it was a huge thing back then people loved the frogs!

@rajonduderondo Budweiser had a series of commercials with frogs sitting in front of a bar saying "Bud" "wise" and "er." This was the follow up.

Don´t know, mate. The reason may be that there are two Budweisers. One is American, the other is Czech. And these two don´t like each other. :) Since this was to be broadcasted in the EU (hence the "Brewed in the E.U." sign) by the American version of Budweiser, it was banned. :) Does that make any sense? Take care! and drink responsibly. :)
