Australian Bush Food, even the very easily attainable Kangaroo Meat, is remarkably expensive for what you get. Most places sell kangaroo meat for the same sort of price as scotch fillet. Most people will always go for the beef as a result.
This... this is why the only places you will ever see Australian native food for sale is in expensive restaurants, where 90% of the population doesnt eat regularly, just occasionally.

So it takes a Dane to tap into Australia's ancient culinary heritage. Hmmm...come on Australia, how much of our ancient heritage are we prepared to slip away from us forever? I'd particularly like to learn about bush medicines too, but I'm convinces the pharmaceutical companies are greedily blocking a lot of that knowledge, here and around the world.
