  • Uh yeh, i agree with the guy that said they should have left immediately. There is no point in staying when you already know hes the owner of the house.

  • i think ur missing the point, the jews make strong statement on behalf of jews in cases of anti shemitism, why is anti shemetish heavier than racism?

  • He was in the wrong to begin with---and yet he is screaming, "Racism!!"

It is people like this...that cause others to be irritated when REAL VICTIMS who have legitimate claims--- experience discrimination/abuses.

Then we have a president who does the same thing. Poor judgment is his problem and anyone who thinks otherwise--suffers from the same type of ignorance. Call it "black rage" wielded against anyone who makes them feel inferior. If rage doesn't satisfy then the "poor me" act will.

  • But since I am not black and I don't know Obama----it was okay for me to be treated this way. But it is not okay for this to happen to a highly educated black man.

This man has big chip on his shoulder and has a big ego. He was refusing to loose to a white man macho-cop. It boils down to racial and male egos. He was in the wrong to begin with.

  • The reason I say this...is to show that I have had a REAL situation with a deputy sherriff. The thing is....they will tell you to do something and expect you to do it while they are saying it. If you don't react immediately they will take you down and arrest you. That's just how it is.

    Is this right? No

But Gates was not only complying he was harassing the officer. He only got the consequence of his poor judgment.

I on the other hand was illegally stopped, illegally jailed, and abused.

  • The fact is Gates refused to show identification, but then when he did, he continued with his antics.

I'm female. I have had a situation where I was stopped by a police officer (by this same name: McCawley) in Florida. He was tailing me, stopped me---couldn't give me a reason why. Threw me on someone else's car for what he said--I couldn't talk to someone who was witnessing what he was doing. Then he arrested me---saying that I was resisting arrest--that is why he was arresting. me.

  • ghetto boy

  • your racist ......

  • Gates asked for the cop's name and badge #. That's why he got arrested. Crowley didn't know who he was messing with. He probably thought Gates was just another Harvard clerical worker. He didn't the man he was wrongfully arresting knows the president on a first name basis. That's where it all went wrong. Next time, Crowley and his gang will have to pick on dispossessed people, regardless of color.

  • "Obama acted "niggerly" Obama is the fucking DANGER to America!!!! What a pompous ASSHOLE!!! HE NEEDS to apologize- or the next time he has an emergency, the 911 dispatch and officers should ignore his call and let his situation escalate without any help!!!
