Knowledge of medicinal plants is a must for everybody in Luoland. People learn the names and remedies of plants by heart. A Luo is expected to point at a plant with his/her index finger so that the person who has asked for it can not only know its physical appearance but also keep that knowledge for others who might need it. It is the person in need of the medicinal plant who must pick or uproot it from the ground. It means that nobody can claim to be the medicineman or ask for payment for any medicinal plant. Above all, if someone with medicinal knowledge dies, millions others (every Luo) are alive to tell the name and point a finger at the plant so that the person in need may pick, cut or uproot it.

Imagine, there's a lot of medicinal knowledge contained inside Ancient Egyptian hyrogliphics, yet nobody knows how to decipher the writing! What a waste! Proves that writing does not necessarily preserve knowledge. It is a people's Culture and Language that preserves their knowledg in all spheres. The Luo have preserved their knowledge inside their Languaguage, songs, epics, poems, dance and Identity.

@estorpai Thanks. In fact, once Bigpharmacy know any place where forests or bushes are still natural and where wild plants that are usually medicinal exist, they go there and spray chemicals from the air with their small planes. It's is outright pollution and destruction of natural resources. Some ILLUMINATI force natives to grow vegetables: tomatoes, onions etc and then give them chemicals (INSECTICIDES) to spray on those crops which they next sell to consumers. Result is cancer.
