Having 1000 plus Imams signing a document condemning terrorism is not enough. On Christmas Day Christians were massacred in Nigeria. Christians had to flee Iraq for their lives driven out by Muslims during the US Occupation. Iraq had one of the most ancient Christian communities. There is a more militant Islam emerging. Shiite and Sunni may start civil war in Iraq. Islam is not the answer.

"...Tim McVeigh, well known Christian..." Anyone who attempts to draw any moral equivalence between McVeigh and any muslim terrorist discredits themselves immediately. Anyone who paid even surface-level attention to the Oklahoma bombing knows McVeigh was motivated by his hatred of the federal government. McVeigh rarely discussed religion. Clearly McVeigh can be called a terrorist. But he acted virtually alone and did not commit his crime in the name of or to further any religion.

So much hate from commenters. What would Jesus do? I doubt he would persecute an entire population of people based on the actions of a few. Isn't judging people the job of your creator? I'm having a hard time finding in the Bible any passages that instruct followers to persecute others...

Why does Senator King need extra security to protect him from Islam, the "religion of peace"? Oh wait, it's because Islam is NOT a religion of peace. It's a parasitic plagarism of Judeo-Christian texts.

I find it very interesting that Asshole King would appear on FOX to express his discontent with the Mosque, when the 2nd largest Shareholder in the FOX empire is Prince Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia who’s own foundation “The Kingdom Foundation” has donated millions of dollars to the building of the Mosque. Why doesn’t he mention this in his interview with FOX? Asshole King is a Cocksucker.

****BREAKING NEWS*****
Citizen Spy Networks to get immunity: House Homeland Security Chairman Pete King introduced the “See Something, Say Something Act” as a shield for those that tip off authorities of potential extremists, in case they report innocent people.
King has introduced a bill that will protect any individual involved in any snoop campaign from lawsuits brought by innocent people wrongly accused of being terrorists or extremists.
Google report for full stroy.

I really hate how Republicans only hold up the values of the Constitution when its convenient. If the TEA party protests its freedom fighting but when anyone remotely related to a union does it its stirring up trouble.
Can a couple of blocks really be described as "walking distance" for much of the american population?

How are Islamic religious leaders supposed to express their opposition to terrorist attacks? The news media does not exactly welcome them. If they do get on a news interview they are prosecuted and blamed and humiliated by the hosts. Then these same hosts join the clamour that they speak out.
