I had my 2nd child by c-section after i wouldnt get past 3cm and his heart rate kept dropping. my c-section was was horrible the pain afterwards was bad and i hated the pain. i am 10 month out from having my c-section and i still have pain in my lower stomach case of it. I would love to do a VBAC with my next baby. I had a vaginal birth with my 1st child.

My first c section-emergency and very nasty scary. I have a 9 day old daughter now (repeat cs) and this was another scary situation but got thru it. My blood pressure spiked before they got my spinal in and then lowered so low they thought they were gonna lose me. If you have problems with blood pressure be careful to monitor yourself.

first of all i went thru the pain of labor right before that and second of all it was very painful afterwards it took me a long while to get back to myself!

Frame of mind - I would recommend a C-section - yes, if you are the "woe is me" type of person - the pain afterwards and getting back on your feet again might make you think it was awful - it was necessary for me and I had my child and no pain in my wound stopped me from getting out the bed to pick her up. Getting back out the bed to put her back in her wee cot - I couldn't do it lol - had to ring nurse. Out of hospital in three days and never looked back.
