  • Actually, now that I've come back to listen to it some more, the VERY beginning sounds quite interesting. I love that the French Horn is already playing a melody after only 3 seconds.

  • Ehhhh.........they could have been better. The tempo was off big time, and there was no virbrato in the trumpet, and people weren't together, and I did hear some wrong notes in the music, the solo wasn't clean either. It was OK, but it could have been alot better.

  • I used to be a member of this band too.

They've clearly come a long way... but they still have quite a bit to do (but that's true of a lot of bands).

  • I used to be in this band, and I can tell you that these people work really hard, but this isn't good. Like banderarsh1 said, there's too much vibrado and the solo isn't clean.

  • I Disagree. I think that there's too much Vibrato and the solo could be smoother.

  • Is the beginning a somewhat haphazard attempt at DRUM CORPS space chords? Sounded good.

    1) The 5/4 section in the beginning sounds a little timid (like there's a dance but everybody afraid to get out on the floor).

    2) NO VIBRATO IN THE TRUMPET SOLO.

    3) Is there a cymbal crash in the section after the waltz? I've never heard it before.
