Apache's have a maximum speed of 158 knots (182 mph, 293 km/h), but Chinook's have a maximum speed of 170 knots (196 mph, 315 km/h).
However, under normal operating procedures Apache's fly at a cruise speed of 143 knots (165 mph, 265 km/h), whereas Chinook's only fly at 130 kt (137 mph, 220 km/h).

Too large and noisy, a helicopter, really? Im guessing you have never been standing in an airfield when a hook does a fly by, its not that loud, and ya must also not know that they are quite maneuverable. Look up some chinook air show vids and learn something Fu
