that is the best tutorial i've seen, but the extraction option is not in adobe photoshop cs4 extended

For cs4 the extract filter is available as an extra plugin and can be found on the goodies CD. If you have no CD then it can be downloaded free of charge at the adobe website.

Sorry about the delay in replying,,, have been trying to figure this one out.
Apparently, Adobe are trying to depreciate certain functions in favor for others. The extract filter isn't installed by default but can be found in the goodies folder of your CD... if you have a downloaded version then you will have to download it as an extra...
