  • lol you guys kill me. Very good stuff. our potatoes had little perfectly round holes in the new potatoes themselves which are of course underground. Still trying to figure out what and how to control that.

  • @consaka1 i had either moles or mice eating my young potatoes in the soil this year. no fun.

  • thanks for watching. i haven't sprayed anyone yet... eric

  • @erochow pretty sure moles just eat worms and grubs. Voles I am not sure of though I know we have them here. Gophers and mice I'm not sure if they would eat potatoes but I know gophers will eat some young flower tubers.

  • Cover your plants with row cover (I use a PVC pipe frame/cage). Summer barriers allow in air, water and 90% light. When they're covered, spray Calendula oil/extract around the bottom or near gaps, or simply grow Calendula as companion plants. After those things, water using BT discs (bacillus thuringiensis), and even use BT infused water as a foliar spray. Do those things, and you'll get rid of all of your disease vectors (disease imparted by bugs), and common pests at once, and organically.

  • I love how Lynn, lets the camera wander from you, to interesting things happening around you. And "I would never spray you with this"

  • There not cute when they eat your potatoes!

  • Even though their pests their damn cute

  • omg, brilliant video... informative and entertaining.

  • good way of cleaning the lens very resourceful
