I seriously don't care if they drag it on (as I said its about Clark's life BEFORE being Superman). I LOVE the show EXACTLY AS IT IS! And this season the writers are going all out. If you want to watch a tale OF Superman instead of the journey, well there are plenty of Superman movies and even the old tv series with Teri Hatcher and Dean Caine you can watch, but I personally prefer Smallville's way of the story.

Smallville is about Clark's journey to becoming Superman, not the tale OF Superman. And they have already said that if he ends up wearing the suit it would be near the very end and probably be as a hero send off type of thing.

I am going to base Smallville as what it is. The journey to BECOMING the hero and not the story of BEING the hero.

You are forgetting SV started when Clark was in his teen yrs so even now on the show Clark is in his 20’s (even though Tom isn‘t). There would still be plenty of yrs before Clark would start to be seen as old. And Smallville as I’ll say AGAIN is the story to becoming the hero. The only time you will see him as Superman would be on the last eppy of the final season if they do indeed do the hero send off thing because SV isn't about the tale of Superman but BECOMING Superman.

When they want to take a show in any certain direction or bring in a new character they have to get permission and certain rights. Its a very complicated manner, but if you have ever been subscribed to the Smallville Magazines or even check Kryptonsite enough they sometimes discuss issues such as certain rights that stand of the way of such things. Such as "The Flash" they ended up calling him something else (Impulse I think it was) because of legal issues with the name...

@SmallvilleFanatic600 I don't understand this, what copyright? Didn't they have to hold the rights, to make a show or whatever it is in a first place?! And how come they show us his suit, but they can't show us Kara's complete with the S suit? And how come they showed superman's mark all the time for the past 10 years, but not on Kara, and not take the show to the next level?Well..I don't get what issues can there be but I definitely don't want to see super grandpa if this dragging goes on more.

Actually a lot of it has to do with copyright issues. Hence why they had to change "The Flash's" name in SV and why they couldn't have Kara wear the S for the entire supergirl suit.

Most of it has to do with copyright issues and why they can't take SV to a particular point etc, but again I don't care. I love Smallville just how it is. SV was NEVER about the hero to begin with, but him BECOMING the hero.

@SmallvilleFanatic600 I did see Dean Caine's tv series and they were great, especially for it's time, but these days, the world haven't seen anything like that. Now they have all the means to create a modern looking superman show with believable effects and all, but no...And I like to add that the reason that the creators drag it, it's cause doing that consent,of superman growing up it's way to bigger spoon cause eventually they're gonna run out of every villain and story he's ever been tru...

BORING, I saw it, and they lost it again, s10e05 was great, this one is just normal (bad), and the "making love" scene was really sad! And seriously this guy should be flying all over around already!
