  • HALLELUJAH! I'm in love with Hip-Hop again after years of resenting it, no matter where I looked, this album simply did it for me.

  • Hip Hop's version of Earth Wind and Fire. Pure, raw, unbridled talent coming from the legendary Roots crew. Please, if you haven't already, cop this album and support amazing music.

  • my favorite song on the album. the whole album is insane, but this one stands out to me.

  • Anyone know the chords to this song?

  • the roots, phonte, and dice raw. i mean what can you ask more? classy as usual. hiphop at its pinnacle.

  • there is a thick layer of crap music preventing me from finding good music like this earlier.

Before now I haven't heard of the roots until my cousin brought me here.

  • @designatedkb I used to feel the same way as you cause I'm a hip hop head and i would get looked at sidways by people when I would tell em. I don't care now, when they ask what kind of music I like I just tell em "Mutha Fuckin Wu Tang!" cause i don't feel like explaining shit, lol.

  • I hate to say I like hip hop cuz people wud look at me sideways cuz I'm gay and people can be prejudiced.

I'm latino, grew up working class, never got into legal trouble and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not. However, I faced a lot of abuse and neglect as a child which led me to learning all my lessons the hard way as I grew into a man so I know struggle.

They took my time and mental health and almost my life.

Never hope for the best? Glad to know I'm not alone. Thanks for making real music.

  • There's a reason they're called The Roots. Pure Hip Hop!

  • This song is absolute perfection, on the bus on a cold night. Not just because of the bus references in the song mind.
