You said in your video, "I try to use leather alternatives whenever I can" <-you're verbatim. Then you immediately go on to say, "I mean, I have a leather jacket..."

So you don't like making a 9" x 2" real leather wristband, but you'll wear a leather jacket made out of ...oh, probably 8 square feet of leather?

@leatherpunk1 yeh, pretty much...had the jacket for years an years. That don't mean I gotta use leather on the stuff I make today.

Great tutorial. :) When I made a cloth wristband, I used snap gromet tape as opposed to actual snaps. The nice thing about the gromet tape is that you can just sew it on.

this is a great diy vid i've made a wristband very similar to your original idea but tartan instead of flannel...

i'm very into diy and anarchy... i make my own lots of stuff- patches, wristbands, even started on my own vest... its great to see someone else who is into it just as much as i am

I like the way you are being creative and making your own stuff. I used to be vegetarian and would buy leather stuff, but since going vegan (and more strict), I don't want to buy any more leather. But anyway, I will have to amke my own as nowhere does a writsband as big and mean as the one I want. *grin*. Thanks for making the video - good stuff!

so how much would a strip of nylon webbing cost at a local craft store?? i love making my own things, i make the majority of what i wear, right down to my shoes, but my funds are kinda limited...
