Guys This is why you don't grab Stingrays by the tail or else they will cut your skin and sting you... That cut that happended to the Teen it could Happen to you. so Next time cut his sting line.

Yeah Manhattan Beach is in Los Angeles County....couple years ago we saw a man catch a huge sting ray off Manhattan Beach Pier. Took about 45 minutes to pull it in.

@CyanideHeart1702 So when fishing for fish, and the stingray catches on, what is he supposed to do then? Keep the line in the water? Cut the line while the ray is in the water, only to leave the hook in the ray? Or maybe you're saying that fishing itself is cruel. I'm curious about your explanation, seeing as they weren't hurting the stingray and were only trying to figure out how to get it back into the water.
