Episode 21 (Episode 8 in Series 2)
Scotland: CARNIVOROUS HERBIVORES
Off the shores of Scotland lie two remote islands where the introduced species of deer and sheep have found a sinister solution to surviving their harsh surroundings. These normally mild mannered herbivores are killing to satisfy their mineral deficient diet. Animal X investigates this unusual phenomenon for answers.
Australia: GIANT MONITORS
And in Australia we investigate the Megalania Lizard - a giant predator who would have been able to out-run a man and tear him to pieces. Thought to be extinct, the Megalania held court in the Australian outback for over 2 million years. Scientists believe this creature last walked these lands over 20 thousand years ago -- but there are others who believe it is still out there...
International: ANIMAL MEMORIES
And finally, Animal X investigates the amazing brainpower of animals that rely on memory to survive. We speak to the world's leading expert on animal cognition and one of the most prominent homing pigeon authorities in an attempt to answer the long standing question of whether animals are capable of episodic memory.
@koranbro14 problem being, that any decent scientist, KNOWS you can not make claims, if you have no evidence, that you tested, to prove a theory. which means, unless they want too go out on a limb without any proof, it just discredits them regardless. it doesn't mean they can't can wonder if it exists, but, as an educated quess- no, it is extinct for the evidence.

It would be interesting to see these deer and sheep evolve into omnivores. I wonder what they will turn into?

only a fucking matter of time when our nice herbivores will sprout teeth and claws and start to savor flesh but that wouldn't happen until the planet earth is a nuclear wasteland spawning mutants!
