Shaykh ul Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri explains the concept of celebration in Islam. He also described the fact that Prophet Muhammad(saw) himself celbrated his Birthday. In addition to this, Celebration is the Sunnah of Allah(swt) himself in the deen of Islam. This has been established through the text of Qur'an and the hadith of Prophet Muhammad(saw) himself.

  • The reason why the Prophet did his Aqiqah again is because the one done by his grandfather was non islamic i.e. non halaal. This is why he did it again just the ONCE and the dinner. Had it been a established sunnah then there would have been repetition of this event by the rightly guided khalifs. Similarly if a Jewish person converts to Islam that persons Jewish Aqiqah is not valid hence one needs to have the Islamic rituals done again on his birthday. Once again the Fake-ul-Islam is wrong again

  • @umairsaleem IF he has to repeat his Aqiqa because it was not Halal (according to you) than Why did he NOT repeat his Marriage with H. khadija-tul Qubra. It was also read by his grandfather during non-islamic period. Now what is more important..REPEATING A MARRIAGE OR AQIQA..YOU DECIDE

  • @ghaws786 because khadija died before the law of marriage was revealed to him

  • @umairsaleem If Khadija died before the law of marraige was revealed, then Why did the prophet (saw) not repeated the marraige of his daughter Zainab with her husband Abu-saad, They were married before the declaration of prophethood. All of them were alive during that time when the Law of marriage has been revealed. Do you have any answer???

  • @ghaws786 Because the Prophet only is an example for mankind hence for the Prophet it was important that the rituals he done on himself be done correctly as attention is on him and not Zainab and Abu Saad

  • @umairsaleem LOL..Your reply clearly tells me the level of your knowledge my friend. Please go and ask any aalim "How a sunnah is established in Islam?"

  • The Prophet Muhammed s.a.w fasted every monday and the saheba asked oh muhammed s.a.w why do you fast and he replied because it is the day of my birth. Why should we not celebrate the birth of the prophet ?.. what wrong is been done what sins are been comitted ? .. we are reciting the verses of the quran reading naats that i believe is a good deed not a sin can someone explain what problem you have ? .. and also can somebody please write out what hadith dr tahir ul qadri quoted i cnt understnd

  • @ghaws786 YOU ARE AWESOME :)

  • he did not reply why did Abu Bakr, Ali, Omar, Usman (Peace and blessings be upon them all) did not celebrate Huzoor SAW birthday???? why??? why is nobody anwering this ??? why??? just give me a reason.

  • @ghaws786

    Excellent reasoning.

  • @calculas100 yh theres this hadith im not going to tell you reference because i want you to find it for yourself a guy asked prophet may peace mercy and blessings of allah be upon him why do you fast on a monday he replied that is the day i was born so prophet chose to fast by celebrating his birthday but as this is moderndays now we celebrate it differently we read naats prasing prophets however most people fast aswell

  • @hanafifiqh I think the more relevant question here is do we have a riwayat or hadees where the sahaba or the Prophet (peace be upon him) have discouraged the celebration of the Prophet's mawlid? Specifically the Prophet's (peace be upon him) mawlid. If not, then anybody who even vaguely suggests that such an act is reprehensible is misguided and misguiding.
