I think that Mizutani changed his serve/serve style, could affected on his whole playing style..

@iLaugh1ng I agree. Mitzunani has to become the attacker in order to beat the very best. He has a good defense but needs to balance his game style between defense and offense.

it's not about the rubber. wh switched to skyline 3 #21 type blue sponge. he still beating ppl like before. if u've ever used skyline 3 #21, control is nice, spin is great close up but lacks power compared to hurricane or tenergy. it's perfect for light touch but slow for mid to long distance

As usual, when the Jap “retriever” Mizutani plays against one of the Chinese top players such as Zhang Jike, Ma Long, Ma Lin, Wang Hao and Xu Xin, he can only do a little more than blocking and retrieving the ball throughout the match. It must have something to do with the limitation of his "weak style." ☆☆☆☆☆

Great game with the former world number one Wang Hao against Japanese prospect Jun Mizutani. However, unless Mizutani drops his defensive mindset and picks up more aggression, he'll never be a match for the Chinese.
