disney's contemporary resort

The main lobby area looks quite squished in together, is that a problem? & do you know whether the main Contemp tower has just standard rooms? I'm thinking about going there with my boyfriend in the near future, it's my style - contemporary! x

HI!...The video doesn't really do the resort, full justice, the lobby is quite spacious as is most of their resort. As for the tower rooms I'm not sure, I've always stayed in the main building. however. a great place to do research is "Allears-dot-net" or "disneycontemporary-dot-com" I've always been fascinated with this resort. since I was a little boy. I hope you two have a great time. :<)

I love this hotel but the price per night is insane.

Yup!.....even the moderate resorts are expencive.

@darkstarkc99 Iv'e never seen a Monorail STOP at the contemporary. Are they supposed to?

Thank you! Went here when I was about 10 years old, stayed at the Contemporary with the Monorail passing through. never forgot it, heck of a place!

@TheCoolProfessor You don't know insane prices until you look at Grand Floridian's prices. The Polynesian is also more expensive too.

On this particular trip we stayed at the Polynesian resort......(very nice),..but I did stay at the contemporary resort the very first time i ever visited Disney...and everyone always said it was noisy..but I disagree...the rooms were very quiet..if you stay on the lake side view...you'll here the nightly water pageant...that's a bit loud...but for only a few minuets...all in all it was a great experience and I would surly stay there again...thanks for your great comment
