Cynder's Triumph

CYNDER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!

Cynder was one of nearly five hundred dogs rescued during the largest dog fighting raid in U.S. history.

Her new life began at the Humane Society of Missouri
where she spent several months before going to a foster home in the Portland, Oregon area.

I worked that case and one of the FBI guys who was watching us remove dogs from a property came up to us while we were loving on a horrified little female, he asked why she was like that and we tried to explain her life at the end of a chain, she was so scared and trying to hide in her handlers arms. His words stick with me to this day "Wow, this is not at all what I expected from fighting dogs." Thank you so much for giving her a chance and helping change the image of Pits.
