This is a ride on 5615 or 5616, a Gillig Advantage powered by Cummins ISM and a Voith transmission on Rt.71D from downtown Pittsburgh to Oakland.

  • good one

  • @ClassicTVMan81 you mean 5501-5592

  • nice

  • Only buses 5625-5679 have the ISL and D864.5. This bus and others numbered 5600-5624 as well as 5500-5591 use the ISM and D864.5.

  • Yeah it is Voith, I will change that.

  • Are you sure its not Voith 863.3

  • just like our 07 Adavantages

  • This one sounds good.

  • You can identify which cummins engines are since the newest gilligs at PAT's fleet are equipped with two different cummins engine. The low hum and lower engine speed with low rpm which is heard in this video from the interior of the bus indicates that this bus has Cummins ISM engine. On the other hand, the cummins isl can be indentified by noticing its higher engine speed at higher rpm as well as its hum along with the engine heard from the interior. Nice video there.
