This is very true. When people say "Taylor Swift isn't country" (which I don't agree with btw)...that's not the same thing as "Adele is a fat whale". Obviously, one is meant to be comical and the other's not.

Why the fuck is Adele so popular??? Why? I don't understand...her music is nothing new, she's hardly attractive, not that many people listen to soul yet they listen to HER, she's a smoking, drinking mess (ironically, she has her cigarettes to thank for giving her an interesting raspy edge to her otherwise even more annoying voice).
