my ex-wife was from trinidad and had a collection of soca and reggae...this was one of the tunes. after we divorced i used to sit in the living room of the house in key largo, listening to this lovely tune in the dark, imagining she would walk through the door(i let her keep the key in case something happened to me, and i wanted her to be able to get in and get my son and his things.) she never did...
My husband use to be a DJ and we attended an old foot party and they played this. All the memories of being young and hearing my father (also an ex DJ) playing this tune. I guess we marry men like our fathers. I asked my husband everyday to dig through his collection. He had a hard time finding it. One day I came home from work after forgetting all about it and he said "I have a surprise for you." He dusted it off and started to spin it and I then knew I married the man of my dreams.CLASSIC TUNE
