Free (contemporary christian song I wrote) :)

This is about the third Christian song I've written in my life, and is the first song I sang in front of a large crowd... (my church)! I wrote it with my keyboard. I originally wrote it for my cartoon band, The Doovie Brothers, but it is my song... as all The Doovie Brothers' songs are mine as well... since they are my creation! ...and also, all my songs are God's, since I'm His creation. :P

This song is in the perspective of a lost person being haunted by their sinful past. It doesn't matter what it was. It could've been as litle as pushing their small sibling down the stairs, or it could be as big as murdering somebody! Later through the song, this guy hears about this man named Jesus who was more than just a man. He heard that Jesus freed everyone by dying on a cross. He also heard that he was the only one who had the power to save his soul and set it free. So, he decides to believe and get saved. Then, he realizes that he is now free from his shames, pains, and sins! Note, this is not exactly a song written by my personal experience, just a song about a random dude who finds salvation from Jesus Christ!

See if the instrumental section after the first chorus doesn't give you a cool feeling... of course it's not your song, it's mine (and that's probably why I like it a lot). :P I would love it to apply to anyone else some day though! :)

I used to think my voice wasn't the best sounding voice and I still believe that, but my voice is gradually getting better as time goes on (I was impressed by my voice in the chorus and bridge in this song... so if you don't think I have a good voice by just listening to the 1st and 2nd verses, wait until the chorus)! :P I've felt like God was calling me to be a singer and songwriter, so that's what I'm trying to do... and so far, I'm becoming what I believe He wants me to be. :) I'm someone that you would never guess to be something like a singer! I'm very quiet and barely talk, but God's ways are higher than our's and God calls the ordinary (like me) to do the extraordinary! So, I'm doing what I think He wants me to do, like my dad is with preaching.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life!

Whosoever means anybody!! It doesn't mean just me because I have a beautiful voice (jk), it doesn't mean just a list of people because they're good people! Whosoever is anyone who believes in Jesus will be saved!!!!!! Just like this dude in this song. :) I'm thinking about writing a song called Whosoever... thought it sounded like a neat idea. :) But this is Free! Hope you like it! I want the WORLD to hear this song some day!!!!!
