Why can't we use human fetuses instead of mice? I don't need to be told that it's unethical, because I've yet to be shown any compelling evidence that it is. I just want to know if it would be more or less accurate, if possible at all :)

I hate listening to people say you only have religion or science. There are many more flavors of ice cream!

The Watchers needed to blend human/animal forms in order to create a suitable body to extend themselves-- a regular human spirit wouldn't enter such a hybrid form. Now, developments in fields such as biotechnology could be leading to a new mechanism for the Watchers return.

Stargates or wormholes may be used by advanced beings to traverse through dimensions, time, and vast distances.

what is happening to these mice is not as cruel as what happens to other animals that are used by humans in the food industries and other areas of science i.e. where do you get you meat from? how are those animals treated? do you care? the truth is that us humans are cruel; but unfortunately it is required for the survival of the huge numbers of humans that exist. at least there will hopefully be a positive outcome from the suffering of these organisms.

I agree but I doubt it is possible, nothing is as good as using a whole organism...in vivo studies need to be completed eventually
