Right, and the Word also tells us if we do sin that we have an advocate,Jesus Christ.The real context is,we are not to live like we did before .We,as Christians do not become perfect when Jesus saves us(only positionally).We are to repent and avoid all appearences of evil and if we do sin,we are to continue to repent.Since the Bible teaches that God chastises those that are His,you only have 2 options.Either we still sin sometimes or we are perfect and God is a sadest.
