Louie, our precious feline living soul, passed on 1/12/09. He was a svelt 30 pound Maine Coon; big NOT fat. He suffered from asthma and cardiomyopathy, part of what sometimes comes with being the giant male Maine Coon he was. He was only 8 years old. We miss him terribly. Give some stars to Louie if you can. These videos are all we have of him now, and stars mean a lot to my family. He was one of a kind. Long live the King.

I have two beautiful Maine Coons, one is 16 this year and the other will be 8. This video breaks my heart because I know the pain of losing one of these amazing family friends. I have three sons, and my boy washes their hair like this too. It's only those of us lucky enough to have had this breed as part of our lives, who know just how truly special they are. None of the Maine Coons I have owned have ever even scratched us and have given us nothing but years of love and pleasure.

How sad from a fellow cat loving family here in Uk. I found your video as I didn't know these cats till today! We have had cats for the past 30 years and never had one die naturally - it breaks your heart when they go .

What a cutie. I know how it feels to loose one of your loved ones our maine coon passed away in aug of 2010 he wasnt too old either. Its sad how quickly they can leave us. Especially when all seems well one day and is completely downhill the next.

i hate it when i see adorable cats on youtube and see that they passed away..i wish cats lived with us forever..if i watch this again i will literally ball my eyes out. this cat looks like a one of a kind caring loving devoted soul.......omg i can't stand it.....im sorry its just...your cat is so lovely.
