Recently put straight pipes on my GT/CS because I didn't want the same sound that everyone else has. I wanted something unique. What do YOU think?

  • It sounds great I have no cats on mine and now I want to take my mufflers off... When u took off the mufflers did a check engine light go on...

  • @FEWalex Nope.

  • dam u were over charged. i paid 40 bucks to have the piping bent and installed with my pre purchased tips from hottexhaust total was 100 bucks. i took the mufflers off myself in 30 min. there is only 10 bolts all together

  • Yeah, but it's not like I got ripped off. I would have taken the mufflers off myself, but didn't have the tools or the time. I would rather just pay a little extra to have someone else do it.

  • Its not really straight pipes because you still have cats.

  • Technically, you are right.

  • @stangredemption yeah i took the mufflers off my 67 and bought some piping to route it the rest of the way, cost me like 20$ in parts.

  • @3NOSHITSHERLOCK3 Depending on the original year of the car... I really hate he paid $200 bucks although he said "Only" like it was cheese and cornbread to him but wow. Overcharge like a mofo

  • I have the exact car as you do and have been following your videos.i have the JLT CAI and an o/r X pipe with stock mufflers. I had flowmasters American thunders on it but it way way too loud. Surprisingly the stocks sound good and dont wake the neighbors or shatter windows.,

  • @mrplatinum919 CS stands for california special. goes back to the 60's modles.

  • i have that setup, but with UPR highflow catted xpipe...200 is alot, i paid 30 bucks, but u pay for it to sound good and be done right. i dig it

  • old car u in year 2060?

  • are straight pipes with no cat legal in the US?

  • wait they cut the mufflers off? why? there is a bracket that you can unscrew to slide the mufflers out requires no cutting.

  • do you live in rhode island because i swear i saw this same car for sale and ive never even heard of a gt/cs very nice car

  • lol im gonna open the garage so its... better... Or so you wont die? hahah nice sounding exhaust man. This is the next thing on my list for my mustang.
