Etan G-The Jewish Rapper gets kicked off the Chabad Telethon

You really have to see it to believe it! No description can really do it justice! To this day no one knows why he did this. Some theories are that he doesn't like rap music, he didn't want his kids watching rap music or that Etan G was moving around too much. No one knows. The rehearsal was performed for the producers before the show so they knew what they were getting. Furthermore, the crack addict from Three Dog Night performed right after. It caused an uproar from people who called in insisting on an apology and much more. It still remains a controversial and incredibly funny and outrageous experience in Etan G's long standing career.

Notice the middle finger on the picture frame once Etan G realizes what happened that switches to the pointer finger so as not to offend but still make a point.

remember that this performance occurred in 2000 - there were no Jewish Rappers then and i had no music then, other than a few songs, which I had done with Shlock Rock. This song fit the bill but rapping was something these guys never really seen before. Bear in mind i did rehearse this 2 days before so they knew what was gonna happen. But this is still def classic and what a way to start out!

I was never on the Chabad telethon prior to that evening. Furthermore, I was introduced by Fievish Finkel and the producers in the back told me it was time to go on. If all that miscommunication happened then Im not sure why Kunin waited till more than 3 verses of the song to yank the mic. To this day no one still knows why he did it. But to reiterate, I was never on the show prior to this and therefore never warmly received, Furthermore I had rehearsed with the band 2 days before this.

He thought he was getting that award, then looks back at the band, then over to the camera men like " wtf " and leaves... that was cold, no matter how bad you are, it's a telethon not a concert, you don't boot people off. That was dirty.
