  • That is a HARD lick to play at Jeff's speed!! I know, because I'm working on it right now. Great job. Great playing!

  • Thank you for you kind comment! I do agree and I appreciate that!

  • One of the best solos of the 80's! Thanks for the post..

  • I agree, Jeff is very technical and very expressive at the same time!

  • Good job, nice video.

  • Thank you for you kind comment!

  • Doesn't Jeff play his part of the solo with 8 finger strumming? At least thats the way he does it on the numerous old vids here on You Tube.

  • NICE! +points for not tapping

  • Absolutely my favorite rock solo of all time.I loved playing this song because I got to do both solos together myself. I enjoyed each one for being fun and unique. I never got clean enough at flat-picking to do that but found a way to do it super clean using hammer-ons and pull-offs. Nice to see it done so well that way.

  • FANTASTIC

  • Not surprising, just seems like forever ago. I remember when this came out and I was blown away...Gillis, not so much

  • @sbrave why does that surprise you? The 80s had the best guitarists in Rock and Metal.

  • I have to tap the solo. No way in hell I can play it like this!

  • Dude did that shit in 82???

  • Ive been wanting to learn this since it first came out but never got around to it. To make things a bit easier for me, i looked up the tab online and its all wrong. they have it tabbed out as tapping. After checking out your video, i went ahead and slowed down the original and yes, you have it spot on. Excellent work. I may tab it out and upload it so people know the right way of doing it. Thanks for the video! Big thumbs up.

  • you are the only guy I've seen, anywhere, who has got this right. I cannot nail this! I came accross this about 1.5 years ago. Im still nowhere with it!

  • reasonably fast ??
