(part 2) She was quiet in the car while heading to the dance. Had a big attitude. When we got there she didn't want to dance at all. She just sat in one spot. When she did talk she was disrespectful. Left the prom. She wanted to go straight home. When we were at her house she ran to the door. No hug no kiss no good bye. A complete waste of my time.

My prom date senior year was a complete BITCH. I met her through my fathers ex girlfriend. Like a month before prom we went out on dates and talked on the phone. She seemed ok, was kind of shy and a beautiful looking woman. When prom night arrived she was a BITCH.

As a woman that has yet to have her prom I have to admit when I really think about it. He is right. The prom is pretty much there for the women. Men are normally the ones being stuck paying the majority costs for the prom. Us as women really only pay for the dress and if you're manipulative enough you can get the guy to pay for that too.

Prom to me is overrated. It's just a overglorified dance, I've been to your usual typical school dances. The ones you pay roughly $5 - $10 to go to and you just do whatever. I didn't really see much of a difference between the two or have felt any difference. Proms are too expensive and everyone wants to be treated like kings, queens, princes and princesses. It's ridiculous. Oh and just to slow dance too and do stupid stuff, just a huge waste of time.

I would've liked to have gone. I would have been happy to have just been asked. I couldn't have gone either way. There were better looking girls to ask. Why would anyone ask me? Story of my life.
At least the loneliness of high school has prevented me from socializing now in college. So I get my schoolwork done. Someday maybe someone will see me as worthwhile, but I won't be holding my breath. Listening to this guy show me how unlikely that really is.
