Short film about the life of a taxi driver from behind the wheel of a cab as he glances at humanity in his rear-view mirror. Voice-over by by poet, actor and NYC cab driver Davidson Garrett read from his book King Lear of the Taxi.

Also, Davidson Garrett's tried very hard to get a permit to film on the Champs-Elysees, but was denied because there was a motorcade scheduled for the Prime Minister of Sweden along the route during the week of the filming. He was there to promote IKEA. Permit denied. Security too tight!
