This routine is geared towards acne prone, combination, sensitive skin

Products mentioned:
- Cetaphil Oily Skin cleanser (not cruelty-free)
- Cetaphil Gentle Skin cleanser (not cruelty-free)
- Extra virgin olive oil for makeup removal - don't use if you have problems with milia
- Glycerine soap
- Dessert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash (cruelty-free, vegan) - don't use if you have dry skin
- Physical exfoliator - textured wash cloth or a Clarisonic works if you want to shell out the money - do this only once a week
- Reversa Glycolic Acid 8% (not cruelty-free - Derma E offers a cruelty-free version, which I'll be switching to) - use this every other day
- homemade green tea toner (vegan - rice water, green tea, tea tree oil, lavender oil, grapefruit oil) - use this every other day - I made a video on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnF0mZj91k8
- 100% Pure Red Wine Reservatrol (cruelty-free, natural, vegan) - nightly
- 5% Benzoyl peroxide (Life Brand) - nightly
- 2% salicylic acid - daily
- for base makeup, try out a BB cream! The one in this video is Lioele Beyond the Solution (good for NC25 skin)
- 100% Pure Tinted Moisturizer (Golden Peach - better for NC30 or 35 skin)

I didn't mention which night cream, eye creams, day moisturizer/sunscreen I use. This is because I'm unhappy with a lot of the products and I am also in a transition phase to new products. This video was mainly on combatting acne anyways. But I will keep you posted through hauls and an updated skin care routine video in the future.

  • what is your toner made of?

  • @les0614 there's a link in the description bar to the tutorial

  • I know you said you exfoliate once a week. Do you do a physical exfoliant one week & then use a chemical the next...how do you alternate them?

  • @RiceARonia are you talking about the enzymatic one or the glycolic acid? If you're talking about the enzymatic one, I'd use that once and then maybe a few days later, the physical cloth. So in one week, I'd exfolite twice in two different ways. But to be honest, this particular enzymatic one doesn't really play a huge part. I could do without it.

  • Can you do a tutorial on how to physically exfoliate your skin with a wash cloth? I'm really interested but I would like to know the right way to do it.

  • @khansaaab I don't really do anything special actually. I just use cleanser on the cloth and then go around in circles on the face. Just don't overdo it. Just do it enough to get two circles in each area you're going around. Then rinse.

  • @27vampyr grooming one will do. I have really bushy eyebrows and i was thinking about plucking them but i dont want t over trim them. and thanks for replying!

  • @CreeWoman26 I haven't looked into many brands. It's difficult since they're not North American. But I am pretty confident that Amore Pacific brands should be (IOPE, Laneige) and Etude House. Perhaps Tony Moly. This isn't from my own research, but Anna (used to be colorlover18) checked into it. So I can't be 100% sure but am fairly confident that they are.

  • i want to try bb creams too...i tried lohashill but i didnt like it, I found there was no coverage to it and it made my face sweat so it might have been clogging my pores...do you know of any cruelty free bb cream brands?

  • @melissainthecity No I haven't. Some rave about it, some think the rave is overhyped. I will never try it because they've recently been acquired by the company Coty, who uses animal testing.
