  • Just to add my two cents, I too have a US PS3, and already burned out one power converter. Then I bought a new cable with an EU plug end, and can attest that the only thing that happened was I played my games for hours. There are zero problems so far. No need for a converter.

  • @texantenor That are the two most valuable cents out there, buddy. Thanks for sharing!

  • Hello, I hope youll read this, did you get your ps3 to work on that, or any tv in Europe?

  • @sonyshot91 Yes indeed : ) I am still in Spain and use my US PS3 every day.

Also, I buy games from the UK, France, Germany, USA, & Spain and all the games work perfectly well.

  • Hi! Quick question, does it works with HDMi? or how are you playing? with hdmi or any converter(ntsc-pal)?? Thanks you

  • @adrianovanpuchi Yes, you are right adrianovanpuchi. I use an HDMI cable and it works perfectly well in Spain & USA.

  • hey well thank you for making this video... you help me out... but i have a question do i have get HDMI cable or i can use my yellow, red , white cable... the original PS3 cables to have the picture on my Russian TV?

  • @Mitxelcalifornia ok thanx for the info :)

  • Most likely all Ps3's around the world have the same power supply in them (which is most likely a switching power supply) and can run on either 120 or 230v. That way sony can save money and use the same power supply inside each PS3 made around the world.

  • ALL PS3 R BIVOLT..IT WORKS AT 110 OR 220V WITHOUT PROBLEM.....
