Beautiful Polluted manila bay

manila bay is extremely polluted and there seems to be nothing done to stop it, its out of control and filthy i do not wish to offend any of the 19,000,000 filipinos who live there but to make some people more aware of what is going on there, I love nature ad i love the philippines and there are wonderful places to visit all over the beautiful archipelago but the capitol city of Manila is an absolute disgrace with regards to its once beautiful bay, it is a giant toilet.

but how can they reverse or fix this problem when the people in metro manila itself are in denial that their city is polluted and dirty? if they dont believe that the city has a problem theres no way theyre going to do something about it,they think its part of the landscape! go ahead tell it to their face that their city needs general cleaning and hell tell you that your city is worse! hahaha

my sister use to tell me stories of the raw sewage flowing to the tributaries in our cousins' villages. couple years ago i visited s.e. asia and bangkok was just like that. that's growth in a third world nation though. but the good news is that it is reversible. the hudson in new york was one of the u.s.' most polluted waterways, but now people swim in it! but as it's been pointed out before, too much corruption in the p.i.

oh yes it is all reversable thankfully but there has to be a change in the way people live in the whole world. London England river Thames is filthy and unfit for swimming in and thats in England! i think we are living through bad times which will pass if we focus on a clean healthy future and respect the earth more

there was a time wherein people can even drink water directly from the bay because it is so clean. but now, drinking the filthy water is already a suicidal attempt.
