@matoamatoro yes. mine is a hasbro N its stamped 2007. i got it for $98 on Amazon.com. its great just not as loud as the MR's..

i'm planning to have one of those babies i watched several videos of yours and since you seem like an expert on the subject, do you think i should go for a master replicas or a hasbro? i do love the master replicas ones better but they are really hard to find. i couldn't make my mind...

it is made of aluminum, i converted mine to have a removable blade in doing so i had to drill through it so yes all of the hilt is aluminum excluding the plastic bits inside

Is the orange part below the emittor not supposed to be thinner?

I've got that very same lightsaber. I had it converted by Ultrasabers. Now it has a brighter blade that is also stronger and can withstand better impact. The blade is also removable so you can hang the handle on your belt. You might want to look into getting it converted.
