If I was Senate Majority Leader, I would ram the Public Option down the blue dogs throat and a couple of Republicans. And give it a name with a logo of a bald eagle. not not a weak one a strong one that minus well be single payer. make it start in 2011. cut right into insurance companies profits. make them crooks compete. Reid and Obama are too weak. Pelosi passed it in the House.

is it not interesting that the gov. oversees medicare and medicaid and aren't those fiscal successes!!! why would we even consider letting the gov. take over healthcare. America vote these idiots out of office and never vote democrat again. the only road for America to have a chance to survive is to vote conservative. today's democrats are self admitted socialists, marxists, maoists, fascists and communists...self admitted czars of TEAM OBAMA. they are obama. The public option is just and expantion of medicare with much higher premiums. The fraud in medicare/medicaid is ramped and out of control. It cost taxpayers billions each year. As well as adding to the high cost of private healthcare. We have a private healthcare system but private is not free market when Government calls all the shots.

Because of Government involvement in the system. We already have socialized medicine in medicare/medicaid and schip. They waste $1 to every $3 they spend on fraud and abuse. Gov. sets the prices for 1/2 the industry directly and the other indirectly. Their reimbursment rates add to high cost of private insurance by being in some cases below cost for hospitals and Doctors who then make up that cost by charging the private sector more. ....i think i have to agree with = carrieexchange!.......he did say "white whore" @ 00:12! .............a YouTube moment = caught on tape!.....(maybe Reid was thinking of the C-SPAN Baseball commentator who though married thought he had a "soul mate" found in his work place and was 21? years old? ......of course this "soul mate floosy" ruined it all by calling the family home and rantin out the "secret soul mates sheer stupidity"...........so Reid may have just been reading about this McMess!)

So much has been sacrificed to appease the Conservatives. If they aren't OK with this bill, then they're really impossible to deal with... Any more sacrifices, and Progressives won't support it.
