They will lift the front wheel in the first three gears without any mods, I know, I own a stock 79er, this is a pretty cbx, well done guys.

Answering some of the questions.
MPG: CBXs usually get 35 to 40 mpg more/less.........on sport rides or track days this can go down by 1/2 or more!
CBXs seem slow: They are not nearly as fast as new hyper bikes...no 30 year old bike is In 1979, they were the fastest or close to it. Wheelies on a CBX are easy for those that have experience and the early model versions with a few handling modifications can keep up in the twisities on most rides with most riders.
