  • I got this recording 15 years ago from our bassist on an MC. We didn't know what this was, all we knew was that Chick had participated in this and it was legendary. It changed my entire concept about music.

Then around 2003, I sent an email to Chick (info@...) along with a small sample of this track, asking for the title. He answered a week later... it was quite funny, he wrote that it was a bit hard for him the recall which track this was :) But I got the title, so I could buy the album.

  • @chabusch Even the master himself couldn't remember? That's hilarious.

  • This is great... they don't make music like this anymore!!!!! I love it. As a 20 year old girl, I speak for my generation by saying that they NEED this in their lives.

  • @n64wilbert I got it used for $2,99!!

  • For those interested; Album Borboletta. Song: Flor de canela/ Promise of a fisherman.

Carlos Santana on guitar, Armando Perazza on bongo's and Stanley Clark on bass.

    1974. It's on Youtube.

  • Return to Forever, Head Hunters, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, & Weather Report... the cornerstones of the Fusion era following in the footsteps of Miles. Their stuff sounds so fresh compared to the quantized, computer generated, click track dependent electronic instrumental music created today!

  • @Toetinger How much did it cost to consume that marvelous 1974 album?

  • Thank you very much for posting this cut;I was listening to this in high school. Return To Forever music is classic indeed;I'll always love it!!!

  • meravigliosa, la ascolto da 30 anni

  • I'm asking myself why those long comments about personal stories always get so many likes...

  • I loved this album as a teenager back in the '70's. Still love it.
