Hey, it may sound crazy but I feed my button quail cat food. If it is around 25-30% protein it's really healthy for them and they love it! Just crush it into small pieces with a blender or hammer, and mix it with there food. I also feed them boiled eggs grounded up shell and all.

You know a lot about quails I brought a breeding pair of chinese/button quails myself today and going to hatch Californian valley quails too, thanks for the video there beautiful healthy little chicks :D

this is a very cute video, is raising quails like raising chickens i'm going to get both next year at a very young age, they won't be kept in same cage but can i give them the same food, i am giving to give the chickens medicated chick crumb is this suitable for quails

Thanks. I just give them normal chick crumbs, crushed. I give them water in milk bottle tops with chick crumbs in the bottom (rather than pebbles), as they drown easily in anything deeper. I also feed boiled egg yolks, a little blue maw seed and millet seed, and very importantly, oyster shell grit at a few days old. Rearing quail chicks is straightforward, when they get the right food / temperature. They wander from the heat lamp, so big containers are best avoided for the first few days.
