"A Decade & Counting"
Response Series (Frmrly STORM series)
I've owned these boots since they were known as the 'Storm' Series. They're going on just over a decade at this point, and they're still my 'go to' pair. The materials and support has held up remarkably well considering their life span. They have me looking to invest in a new pair of Magnum's finally again now 10 years later (not to say I haven't purchased a couple pair in between). The tread wear and non-slip grip held up tremendously, along with the tongue and canvas material used for the outsole. I actually have a waterproof version of the Storm series that is still 100% waterproof. I never expected to be able to wear the same pair of boots year round in any condition, and I live in the Northeast where we get all four seasons. Just now after 10 years is the outsole adhesion starting to give out, and the sole starting to break up.

These boots have far exceeded my expectations (and I'm pretty hard on boots). I would recommend them (and have many, many times).
I'm not one to give a 100% satisfaction review, but these have earned it!

  • great review; nice durable boot which appears to have longevity. Can't say that about many things. This older model magnum is more breathable I think. Keep up the good work!

  • @Nikes62

    Thanks!

I agree, I would like to see more of the 'bullet proof, mesh material' in upcoming models. I think that stuff was great because it was still waterproof, very durable, and most importantly: breathed really well.

Keep your eyes open for more upcoming reviews!
