@Fallin5tar Arthur C. Clarke said something once (about God) that can be effectively applied to anything so mysterious as to be beyond our reckoning: "Either there is a God, or there isn't one. Either prospect is equally frightening." I think the same could be said for intelligent life forms existing elsewhere in the universe, and even visiting us. Btw, it's difficult to bore me concerning this subject. It interests me to no end, and i enjoy having someone to talk with about it. :)

@giantmothlbr exactly, its not a matter of them trying to be recognized but, the fact that they cannot because they only can understand few individuals. I mean who knows, its not fact and its just a theory. I mean for all we know the government may knw about it and may not know about. All we can do is try to think rationally and try to figure it out for ourselves. lol. Sry... getting into a rant. I would bore you lol.

@Fallin5tar yeah, that makes sense. "Advanced" doesn't mean "smart", necessarily. Just take, for instance, people with autism. There is no question they are advanced compared to average people, but most of them have limited capacity to care for themselves, at best. At worst, they can be completely helpless in the reality we all inhabit.

@giantmothlbr cont..... maybe they are "trying" to be recognized and maybe they are not as smart as we make them out to be. Yes they have space crafts but in another "dimension" the mere thought of a space craft may be like an engine is to a mechanic here. So, it makes you further think with this scenario... may be easy to have certain things but maybe they cannot communicate per say to everyone... maybe only select individuals.. those with a certain gene, trade, or what not. I hope you get me.

@giantmothlbr definitely. I believe if they were really that intelligent they would go to someone with power. But, then again they probably dont want to be recognized with what they are doing. So... it kind of bothers me that they just pick up random people like farm Joe on his feild then his credibility is critisized because of him being a farmer. I mean it really make no sense but, at the same time when we see mass sitings such as the arizona lights... it makes you think..

@Fallin5tar lol. None taken. I always find it frustrating that throughout history divine beings who come from the sky never address people en masse. They always just pull one guy to the side and say, "Listen, I'm going to tell you this and then I want you to go tell everybody else." I don't know, maybe they don't understand the concept of frustration.

@giantmothlbr I completely understand... its really traumatizing for many people who get abducted. I just never had anything like that per say happen to me but, I think i would sh*& myself if it occured. lol. no offense.

@Fallin5tar I'm not quite sure i understand the need for abduction, per se. People liken it to humans abducting animals from the wild in order to learn more about them. But these alien races seem to have the ability to communicate with us in our own languages, so why not just ask us if we'd like to join them? Why the need to abduct? Especially considering how traumatizing it is for those involved.
