@kristam67 There is a channel called Antenna TV that shows ONLY old tv shows and movies. Gidget is one of them!! Just google 'antenna tv' It is carried by many affiliates throughout the US. Good luck!

As someone who actually remembers watching "Gidget" (as a 13-year-old, hormone-filled, barely-pubescent boy) something bothers me. In the mid-60's, the network censors were so busy trying to make sure that a female belly-button never appeared on TV, it seems that they made sure Sally Field's bikini bottom went several inches north of her navel but never noticed just how clingy and revealing it is....ummmmmm....farther south.
