This is my hotel room at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Chicago, the night before the presidential election.

  • that is a river view. not a lake view. i think the layout is cooler than a regular room. what a unique way to make a room feel larger. ps. nobama is gonna screw the pooch.

  • You can't see the lake in the video because the light bleaches it out, but I could see it, right over that bridge thingy. I wasn't a huge fan of Obama, but we've been getting hosed for a long time. When someone is raped, the body shields them from "knowing" pain while the act is occuring. Only after they wake up do they "really feel" what was done to them. They might cry & fight the medics... but the medics didn't *cause* the pain. Still, it doesn't mean that the medics know what they're doing!!

  • @mayalibre What a very strange analogy. So this is how you came to decide Obama should be the President? Actually is not a shock. Unique room set up, I'd agree.

  • wow. Thanks. That view brings back memories. I stayed at the same exact hotel on the 19th floor back in 1998 ! Chicago is an amazing city.

  • I will be staying at The Hyatt Regency in Chicago for an overnite stay in December of '09. I got a bargain for my room as well for $80.00. This is a really an excellent bargain for Chicago.

  • wow! 2 PL customer. Be very thankful you got a nice room at the hyatt. Most hotels once youre a PL customer or any other "discounted" rate, they will fight back by giving you a shitty room and lowsy (watevah attitude they can give you) service! Keep it up, it will "catch up" on to you. Just a little heads up.

  • $80 per night at the Hyatt Regency - Chicago is a GREAT rate!
