@grrrr17 Yours is the voice of reason...falling upon mostly (and ironically) deaf ears.

My friend will be doing this violin solo at a school concert. This is beautiful. =o)

He actually does play the Violin in real life, and he is actually very good; whilst this is a recorded piece, it's still him performing of sorts...

@grrrr17 Aldis Hodge, who plays Hardison, played both the clarinet and the violin as a child, but as an adult, his focus is on the violin; he purchased his first at the age of 18. He actually played that in this episode.... secondly, It's a television show, not a movie.

of course this is 'violin-syncing,' i don't know why anyone would argue over it? it's a movie! these actors can't play.
-
Who cares if he didn't play it himself. What people should be talking about is how Hardison singlehandedly stopped the con, brought tears to Parker's eyes, and made the entire emotional lol. This was definitely in my top ten favorite episodes
If anyone says that there is nothing beautiful in this world, let them listen to this.

@YouKungFuNoGood Actually, no it isn't. As someone who plays the violin, I know a fake performance when i see one. While Mr. Hodge, I'm sure, knows exactly how to play this song, I am fairly confident he is not. While it appears he is playing, his bow movement and pressure on the strings does not track with the volume at which the song is played, as well as some notes that are played during a continuous bow stroke, in the video, are caught between strokes.
