The Keystone's timetable coincided with the timing of the passing by Rahway - 2 other people have confirmed it - this had to be train 671.

If it was - it was very late - and I thought the Vermonter had a baggage car. If it was't the Keystone it just a Northeast Regional.

Ok, that's screwed up. THE CAB CAR IS MUed RIGHT BEHIND THE AEM-7. This obviously isn't a deadhead move. What's the explaination for this

Well no, that's not a deadhead - that is the Keystone headed to Harrisburg. I have no idea why Amtrak would do this - I mean I've seen Long Island Railroad use some of their bi-level push-pull cabs as trailers and until I shot this I never knew Amtrak had push-pulls. You got me on this one!
