So wait lets say i dont do the diet at all from p90x but just eat healthy and eat high protiens would i still be ok and still loose weight or doi absolutely have to dothe p90x diet guide to see true results?
I injured my knee a couple years back, and couldn't do the plyo with causing pain DURING the workout, so I replaced it with the Cardio X for my first run through P90X. Now on my second run through, I can actually do the Plyo without knee pain (exept the one time I accidentally landed with a straight leg--ouch). I still have to be careful how I land, but that's part of the routine, anyway. I have the Plus series sitting on a shelf too, so maybe I'll do Interval if my knee starts acting up again.
I've been thinking about grabbing the plus series, glad to hear their worth it! I'll probably wait till I'm done with the first 90 days though, I havent even started yet.
also my knee are in worse shape than this guy. He only has a "tweak" Plyo is making my legs stronger and now there is less strain on my knee because of plyo. I just started off with the modified moves to build strength. Now I keep up with the DVD. This guy sounds like he just doesn't "want it" that bad
I disagree with this guy. I missed plyo last night and did it the next morning then did my shoulders and arms later in the night... You can double up a day if you miss one. how can that not work?... works for me. My results are good and I miss days all the time...
If you modify the program, your results will suffer. During my second round I stopped doing yoga for a while because it's a long program, but my core, shoulders, chest, balance, and flexability started to suffer so I added it back. I also stopped kenpo for a while during my third round but my balance, core, flex and shoulders started to suffer as well. So now, in my 4th round, I am following the program and I am getting great results.

What I started doing is combining elements from turbo jam and incorporating them into my kenpo x routine which helps in elevating my heart rate.

I agree with you about kenpo, it was more designed as a beginner work out, i either do Kenpo + or Kenpo with weights on
If I had knee problems i would not use Plyo either
but luckily i don't
