Don't sell it........ It works great.... even with a car battery (provided you have the separate trip switch for battery operation so that the final is protected -- must use for battery operation).

im in the navy and i work on HF transmitters that broadcast over 1,000 watts output power. PA's run at 2,500 volts PA plate voltage, and drivers run at 500 plate voltage. The PA tubes can stand 1 amp at 2,500 volts for short periods of time. And peak Wattage is rated at 1,500 but i have put out 1,700-2,000 at times when the power control circuit was faulty or out of allinement, lol.

These are great little rigs, I owned one back in the day and
enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately it was stolen.

The best rig I ever owned ( and I am a Ten Tec fan ! ) considering ratio price / performance

Beautiful rig! My first impression was that it looked like (certainly by design) the classic Collins R-390, receiver! Hope a deserving owned has found his/her Century 21, by now. RL Atlanta, GA USA

Nice looking QRP rig! I used to own a Ten Tec Power-Mite QRP rig back in the 1970's and I had a lot of fun with it and was able to power it up with a simple 12 VDC lantern battery for almost a week!
