Heres my dear little Bichon Frise doggy pal Snowie Diddums aged just 3 months reciting "Youth, Day, Old Age and Night" by the great Walt Whitman (`819 - 1892).
Bichons are small dogs believed to be derived from the much larger Water Spaniel. Thet are very similar to Poodles, but unlike Poodles have been bred to be only white and considerably less variable in size. They are highly intelligient dogs and have been used in circuses to perform tricks like riding on the backs of white horses, and because their unique hip configurement gives them the unique ability amongst dogs to stand bolt upright on their back legs like humans.Bichons do this when they are trying to observe something that is above their normal reach.
Snowie Diddums who became part of our family on the 1st February 2009 after our previous darling never to be forgotten little Bichon Snowie Senior (1999 - 2008) passed away suddenly aged 9 whilst having her teeth cleaned at the vets. Snowie Diddums is much larger than Snowie senior, and a real handful always upto mischief.,but she is also a very loving sweet and highly intelligient little dog with it appears from this video an amazing memory for reciting classic poetry ha ha.
Kind Regards

Youth, Day, Old Age and Night
Youth, large, lusty, loving--youth full of grace, force, fascination,
Do you know that Old Age may come after you with equal grace, force, fascination?
Day full-blown and splendid-day of the immense sun, action, ambition, laughter,
The Night follows close with millions of suns, and sleep and
restoring darkness.
This is soooo lovely ! Snowie Diddums is the epitome of "adorable"!
