@fukimotoz if you think shotgun messiah or 99.6% of their peers from back in the day did this to seek approval beyond your youth based on lyrics, you've got something to learn. if it's substantive lyrical content you're after, go listen to U2 or some shit like that. I dig this tune as much as I did 21 years ago. Most people listen to this music to have a good time. Why make it any more complicated than that?

@fukinblowme , I don't recall mentioning anything about the guitar playing. Sure, he's decent. My comment is about the lyrics, the message, and the relevance, or lack there of. I suppose substance is somewhat subjective. To me, it takes more than a cool guitar riff to be considered as substance. When I want to listen to nostalgic, fun, party, silly music ( which I listen to often), I always turn to the heavy metal music I grew up on, like this. But I won't kid myself and say it's substantive.

@fukimotoz You may not be a stupid little kid anymore, but stupid little kids grow up to be stupid adults. Harry Cody is a brilliant guitar player, there's certainly substance here. Reducing this (or anything in music) to mere lyrics is something only ignorant people do. You're the type of guy who only watches the ball during a football game.
